I’ve always enjoyed teaching people – whether English to a Laotian friend in second grade, waterskiing to friends, or science to teens at the Community School. It’s exciting when the light bulb goes on and they “get” a big concept, but equally rewarding are the smaller moments that bring my students one step closer to their educational goal.

I have been teaching for more than a decade, with a special focus on science and math. Students often find these subjects particularly challenging, and I enjoy presenting the material in ways that engage and excite my students based on their individual learning styles.

As a member of the National Science Teachers Association, Green Chemistry Education Network and the American Chemical Society, I have presented at several industry conferences. In addition to tutoring, I am currently working as a Guest Teacher at all grade levels for the Blaine County School District.
